About Econixa

Learn economics by seeing it work.

What Econixa is

Econixa is an independent, education-first website for learning economics. Instead of asking you to memorize long lists of isolated definitions, we teach you to reason through economic systems: how a price change ripples through supply and demand, how fiscal and monetary policy move aggregate output, how incentives shape behavior, and how trade reshapes nations.

Every guide on this site is built around checkable understanding — what a mechanism does, why an outcome happens, what the evidence is, and where students most often go wrong. Misconception callouts are built into the pages because the wrong answers students most often give are usually the most instructive.

What the platform covers

  • Microeconomics — supply and demand, elasticity, consumer and producer theory, market structures and game theory.
  • Macroeconomics — GDP, inflation, unemployment, aggregate demand and supply, fiscal and monetary policy.
  • Markets — price formation, efficiency, market failures, externalities, public goods and information problems.
  • International trade — comparative advantage, tariffs and quotas, exchange rates and the balance of payments.
  • Development — growth models, poverty and inequality, institutions and human capital.
  • Behavioral economics — biases, nudges, bounded rationality and experimental findings.
  • Public finance — taxation, government spending, budgets, deficits and public choice.

Learn by doing

  • Interactive simulators — the supply–demand graph, the Phillips curve lab, the IS-LM explorer and game-theory matrices.
  • Economics calculators — elasticity, multipliers, the GDP deflator, inflation and IS-LM calculations with worked steps.
  • Practice sets — exam-style questions with explanations and instant feedback.
  • Study paths — guided routes for AP Micro, AP Macro, college courses, beginners and Hindi readers.

Our standards

  • Economics must be correct. Every definition, formula and model is checked against standard references before publication.
  • Models are labeled. Simulators are simplifications; each one says what it leaves out.
  • Never invent facts. No invented studies, statistics or authorities — and exam mappings are explicitly unofficial (see the disclaimer).
  • Educational only. Nothing here is financial, investment or professional advice (see the disclaimer).
  • Accessible by design. Meaning is never carried by color alone; every chart has text labels and every interactive has keyboard support.

Languages

Econixa publishes in English and is building out Hindi and Spanish editions. The economics is the same in every language.
